At times when attempting to login to the Identifix Shop Manager web application, you may encounter an error such as receiving a ‘forbidden’ page or the page attempts to redirect. These errors ultimately result in not being able to login and utilize the program. 

Below are some steps you may try to help remedy the concern.

Note: these steps are for the Google Chrome browser, which is the preferred browser for use with the Shop Manager web application.
 

While within the Chrome browser:

  • Have one Shop Manager tab openwithin that tab - navigate to the icon to the left of the URL
    • this will look like two slider bars (or a lock icon depending on your version)
  • In the pop-up that appears, choose 'Cookies and Site Data'
  • Then select to 'Manage cookies and site data'
  • Select the trash can icon next to any item that appears under the first section for cookies for the site you are currently viewing
    • By choosing this option, we are not affecting other sites' cookies and data, just for the site you are on (which should be shopmanager.identifix.com this case)
  • Now select this link or type in the following URL to attempt to login:
