All vehicle history is sorted by VIN in Shop Manager. You can assign a vehicle to any customer's account, regardless of ownership, as many times as you like.
For example, consider a Rolls Royce Wraith that has been sold several times. The latest owner is Mr. Billy TheKid.

If we search for the VIN in the general database, all the records and past customers with the vehicle are shown.
