The program will decode standard 17-digit VINs for production vehicles built in 1981 or newer.

If you need to add a car without a standard VIN, first click on the vertical ellipses in the Vehicle Pane. In the dropdown menu, select Change Vehicle. Then, click it again, and select Enter Vehicle Manually. (If there is not a vehicle on the RO already, you will only need to click once).

In the modal that opens, fill in the fields as you like. This will work for classic cars or other special or unusual vehicles. Users can service motorcycles, bikes, boats, golf carts, and even airplanes.

Once a vehicle is in the database with a given VIN, all future decodes of that VIN will default to that vehicle. If another version of the same VIN comes in, you will need to disambiguate it after adding it to the account.

First, add the VIN, then select the VIN Details option from the Vehicle Info Menu. Next, click the Refresh icon next to the VIN to open the disambiguation modal. Make your selection, and away you go.
