When moving from an old Shop Management System you’ll want to do as little recreation as possible in your new shop. Your Success representative will help you schedule your migration and address any questions that your shop may have about the data coming over.
Your converted shop’s data migration may include the following information, depending on the source Shop Management System information.
What details are converted?
What details are NOT converted?
What details are converted?
- Customers
- Vehicle
- Technicians
- Sales History
- Inventory
- Vendors
What details are NOT converted?
- Estimates
- Open Work Orders
- Recommendations or Revisions (unsold work)
- Accounts Receivable
- Canned Jobs or Kits (service templates)
- Vehicle color or production date
It typically takes 1-3 business days to complete a data migration.
Please note: Estimates, Work Orders, Invoices, Customers, Vehicles, Parts, Past Services, time clocks, & appointments will be overwritten & lost during the data migration process. Only Shop Settings, Canned Jobs & their associated Parts will remain.
Please use your account for training only until our Data Migration team confirms the load-in is complete & the data has been reviewed. An email will be sent out once the data migration is confirmed successful - at which point the application is ready for use.
Invoices created in your old Shop Management System after the extract will need to be manually entered after your final data migration is complete.
Your shop has 2 business days to report issues, otherwise the migration is considered complete & the case is closed for review.
