The Native Parts Catalog is a Shop Manager feature allowing users to review real time parts fitment, pricing, and availability across multiple aftermarket parts distributors, all from within the Shop Manager platform.
In order to use the catalog you must have the Native Parts Catalog included in your subscription, have at least one PartsTech integrated vendor, and utilize the MOTOR estimator.
The Estimator will source job and labor information from MOTOR, and send the VIN to PartsTech for parts lookup. Up to thirty of your vendors who are integrated with PartsTech will be included in the search.
Note: Your PartsTech vendor integration must be confirmed before that vendor will appear in the search.
To search for parts, begin by clicking on the 'Add Service' button on an RO. Select the Estimator tool, and find the service you wish to estimate.

When you select the part for the service, the catalog will spring into action, sending the VIN to PartsTech, and searching for parts options.
The “In Stock” switch is automatically set to view in stock parts only; if you view all, the out-of-stock parts are shown in pale grey.
You can also filter by brand using the drop-down menu.
Once the list is populated, scroll through to select the part version and supplier you prefer. When you then press the green + Service button, the job will be added to the RO with the part selected. Part pricing is governed by your Optimizer settings.
This makes the estimating process extremely efficient. The Native Parts Catalog feature will save time, and improve the accuracy of your quotes, giving you yet another advantage over the competition.
