Reports ⟶ Category Report (view only)

The report displays a summary of all categories, and a breakdown of each individual category. If no ROs in the time period selected include service in a given category, there will be no report for that category.
- Labor - The sum of all labor dollars billed in the category
- Labor Cost - The Average Labor Cost multiplied by the hours in the report
- Parts - The sum of all parts dollars billed
- Parts Cost - The cost amount of parts billed
- Sublet - The sum of all sublets
- Sublet Cost - The cost of all sublets
- Haz/Fees - The sum of all Hazmats and Fees
- Service Count - The number of services in the report. This is not the same as the number or ROs. There can be multiple services on one RO
- Billed Hours - The sum of labor hours billed
- Effective Labor Rate - The sum of labor dollars billed, divided by the number of billed labor hours
- Gross Profit - Revenue minus Cost
- GP % - GP divided by Revenue
- GP/hr - GP divided by the number of labor hours in the report
- Parts GP % - GP divided by Revenue, for parts only
- Labor GP % - GP divided by Revenue, for labor only
- Sublet GP% - GP divided by Revenue, for sublets only
*Note: Shop Manager by Identifix calculates Gross Profit using Gross Sales (sales before discounts) for Revenue. Discounts are considered a cost. Thus GP% = (Gross Sales minus costs) ÷ (Net Sales).
