While configuring the AI Parts Matrix, shops can choose to set specific AI Parts Matrix behavior for tires. This behavior will be separate from all other part types.

 

To configure tire specific AI Parts Matrix behavior, navigate to your Parts tab on the lefthand toolbar and select the AI Parts Matrix, then scroll down below the Exceptions area where the Tire Setup is. 

 


There's three different settings the Tire AI Parts Matrix can be set to:

  • AI Parts Matrix ON
  • AI Parts Matrix OFF
  • AI Parts Matrix OFF with a group exception applied
    • If you're wanting to assign a group exception rate, you must first have your 'Tire' group created under the Exceptions section within the AI Parts Matrix settings. 

 

As you make adjustments to the Tire Setup in the AI Parts Matrix, you will see a message in the top right corner that notifies you of the changes and the affect. 

 

By setting the tire pricing structure upfront automatically, there is no need to change the price every time a tire comes over to the RO.
