The program can launch parts queries and submit orders through five different integrators—WHI Nexpart, PartsTech, Parts Authority, WorldPac SpeedDIAL, and MyPlaceForParts. This article explains how to configure your account to launch Parts Authority.

These instructions will guide you through setting up an integration between the program and Parts Authority, which will allow you to launch Parts Authority sessions from the software, carry vehicle and parts information from software to Parts Authority, and for Parts Authority to return parts information and orders to the software in your account.

You will first need an account with Parts Authority. Your account representative can then provide the login credentials.

*Note: WHI credentials are not the credentials you will use. You will need your Web Warehouse credentials.

Enter Credentials in Shop Manager

Go to Parts → Vendors and then add Parts Authority by clicking the blue +New Vendor button in the RH corner. In the modal that appears, fill in the Name, Integrator, Login, and Password fields. Click Save when finished.

You can now proceed to use Parts Authority as an eComm Vendor. The workflow process is similar to any vendor. From an RO, you have the options of browsing the Parts Authority catalog, by selecting Find Parts in the Parts modal. The program will transfer the VIN for you and bring you to the PA catalog front page. There you can find all the parts you seek, and add them to an order, which will generate the PO.

If you select Stock Order, the program will open the PA website in a new tab, find the part for you, and create an order. Just select “Finalize Order” to order the part, and generate a purchase order.

If you select the eComm option, all eComm vendors will open as usual, including PA.

You can also order directly from the Inventory page. In this case, first filter to only those parts assigned to the PA vendor. Then select New Order, and the program will find the parts on PA in a new tab. You can then create an order, and checkout as usual.
