It's possible to launch parts queries and submit orders through five different integrators—WHI Nexpart, PartsTech, Parts Authority, WorldPac SpeedDIAL, and MyPlaceForParts. This article explains the configuration to launch WorldPac SpeedDIAL.
Note: Before we begin, make sure that you have added an existing vendor for WorldPac. If you have not added the vendor yet, go to Parts→Vendor and then add WorldPac by clicking the blue +New Vendor button in the right-hand corner. When you are done completing the information, click Save and Close.
These instructions will guide you through setting up the integration with WorldPac SpeedDIAL, which will allow you to launch SpeedDIAL sessions, carry vehicle and parts information into SpeedDIAL, and for SpeedDIAL to return parts information and orders.
Log In to SpeedDIAL
Before you get started, make sure you have SpeedDIAL downloaded and an account with WorldPac. If not, please set these up before proceeding.
Configuring SpeedDIAL
- On SpeedDIAL: window, go to View→Preferences
- Under "Shop Software," check "Enable browser-based Shop Software Interface."
- Where it says "Use HTTPS" click the checkbox.
- Select "Export" as the action.
Next, go to the Logon tab, and check these boxes:
- Remember customer number.
- Remember password.
- Automatically logon.
Now when SpeedDIAL is running, it will look for the shop management software.
Testing The Connection
- Login to the shop management software
- Open WorldPac
- Check the connection status shown in the lower left corner.
If the connection is sound, you will see a green dot towards the bottom right corner of the window. If the dot is red, there is a connection fault. Double-check your settings and try again.
